Flag: Nauru

The Nauru flag emoji shows a thin yellow line splitting the flag horizontally. The background is dark blue and there is a white 12-point star on the bottom left side. The flag was adopted in 1968 on the Nauru independence day. The yellow line represents the country’s location which is 1 degree south of the Equator and the blue represents the Pacific Ocean. The 12-point star symbolizes each of the indigenous tribes on the island.
