Flag: Argentina

The flag of Argentina emoji is made up of three horizontal stripes (from top to bottom: light blue, white, and another light blue strip). There are multiple interpretations on the reasons for those colors. The flag was first used during the Argentine War of Independence in 1812, without the Sun of May emblem in the center. The Sun of May was added a few years later, in 1818.
